The upcoming CBDNA National Conference in Ann Arbor (March 28-31) is
sure to be an exciting and rewarding event for all of us. Michael
Haithcock and his staff are assembling what will be one of the most
exciting conferences in recent memory. The facilities are wonderful,
the city is beautiful and the sessions will be terrific.
Congratulations are in order for the wonderful ensembles who have been
selected to perform in Ann Arbor. They are: Indiana University, Stephen Pratt,
conductor; Hartt School of Music , Glenn Adsit, conductor; Texas
Christian University, Bobby Francis, conductor; Central Michigan
University, Jack Williamson, conductor; Florida International
University, Roby George, conductor; The Cincinnati Conservatory
Chamber Players, Rodney Winther, conductor; The Florida State
University. Richard Clary, conductor. They will join the host
University of Michigan Symphony Band conducted by Michael Haithcock
and the Small College Intercollegiate Band, which will be conducted by
Frank Ticheli.
This conference is going to be an event you won’t want to miss. I
look forward to seeing you in Ann Arbor!
